COURSES
Respiratory Protection:
Prerequisite: None Length of Course: 2 days
We cover in this course the requirements for having respirators, donning, doffing, maintenance, selection and limitations of respirators. We also cover qualitative fit-testing and user seal-check testing. The written respirator program is highlighted along with medical requirements and OSHA and NIOSH standards. This course includes much hands-on training.
Ergonomics:
Prerequisite: None Length of Course: 1 day
Students will learn to recognize, evaluate and control work-place conditions causing or contributing to musculoskeletal and nerve disorders.
Permit-Required Confined Space Entry:
Prerequisite: None Length of Course: 2 days
We will instruct on how to safely enter a confined space by recognizing and evaluating hazards. Preventing hazards, along with abating hazards are emphasized
Overview of Permit Required Confined Space Entry:
Prerequisite: None Length of Course: 1 day
This is a good course as in introduction to the OSHA Permit Required Confined Space Standard (29CFR1910.146). It is geared toward people who do not enter a confined space, such as floor supervisors, management and non-entry rescuers. There is no hands-on training in this course, as the Standard and the responsibilities of attendee’s entrants and rescuers are covered, but no mock entry or hands-on monitoring is presented.
OSHA-10:
Prerequisite: None Length of Course: 10 hours
We present the OSHA-10 in a cheerful entry level environment, bringing out the required basic requirements we must cover, plus electives pertaining to the customers needs. This course is required on all state construction jobs and many private construction jobs as well.
OSHA-30:
Prerequisite: None Length of Course: 30 hours
We present the OSHA-30 is an expanded course of the OSHA-10. Many contractors require this for their foremen on jobs.
Both the OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 are offered in both English and Spanish
